Herbs, Fruits & Veggies
The flavor of vegetables grown at home is superior to anything you can buy at the grocery store. Homegrown tomatoes have more intense flavors, especially those varieties designed for your own garden (versus shipping types). Squash, peppers, beans, eggplant, zucchini, etcetera, picked fresh that day taste better than ones that were picked too early (weeks ago) and handled roughly by warehouse workers. Leaf lettuce tastes crisp after being harvested right when it needs attention most, not weeks ago before spoilage sets in.
Garden fruits that grow in our area include strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, grapes and blackberries to name a few!
Herbs such as basil, mint, and lemongrass to oregano, cilantro, parsley, rosemary and thyme picked fresh off the vine; there's nothing that compares to the smell and taste of fresh herbs from your very own garden or containers.
Herbs, Fruits and Veggies
Starting every year in early Spring, we stock and carry most herbs, fruits and veggies that grow in our climate zone. At the end of summer we also restock the cool weather veggies that are more tolerant of colder temperatures and light frost.
